Emma Jean Napier peacefully passed away on Friday, May 29, 2009 in Vancouver, Washington. Born on December 2, 1912 in Morrilton, Arkansas to Eugene and Nora Rhoden, Emma was 96 years old.
A Camas resident for the last 19 years, Emma worked as a waitress before her retirement.
She is survived by her grandsons Randy Attaway of Los Gatos, California, Lance Attaway of Hillsboro, Oregon, and Scott Attaway of Aloha, Oregon, granddaughter LaVonna Ashenbrenner of Hillsboro, Oregon, and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Blythe.
There will be a Celebration of Emma's life at a later date. Vault interment will be held at the Camas Cemetery. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
