Nia Troup returned to her Messiah Jesus on Wednesday, June 10, 2009. Born on June 16, 1949 in Gungke, Korea, Nia was 59 years old.
A Camas resident since 1996, Nia worked as a tailor. She was actively involved at the Holy Mountain Korean Church and Rehoboth Messianic Congregation. She enjoyed gardening, singing, flowers, and the ocean. Most of all, Nia enjoyed being around her family and friends, and her love to the Lord.
Nia is survived by her loving husband of 32 years Jeff at home, daughters Danielle Troup, Michelle Troup, Gabrielle (Troup) Sharratt, son-in-law Randy Sharratt, and sisters Mia Thorn and Soony Meyers.
A Celebration of Nia's life was held on Sunday, June 14th at the Rehoboth Messianic Congregation in Vancouver.
Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
