Edward Albert Bauder passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2009 in Vancouver. Born on July 25, 1946 in Mobridge, South Dakota, Edward was 62 years old. A Vancouver resident since 1995, Edward was formerly from San Diego. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, and retired from the Navy in 1995. He then went to work as a bus driver for C-Tran in Vancouver until 2006. He enjoyed baseball and softball, bowling, partying with his friends and family, traveling, shopping, playing with his electronics, and was an admirer of classic and vintage muscle cars. Edward is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Ronna at home, daughters Jolena Davis, Autumn Potshum, and Jennifer Bauder, sons Joe Bauder, Kenny Rasmussen, Jamie Rasmussen, and Jimmy Rasmussen, sisters Nancy Hecker and Julie May Bauder, and brother Leroy Bauder. He was preceded in death by his son Eddie Bauder. There will be a Celebration of Edward's life on Friday, June 26th at 11:00 am at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas. Inurnment will follow at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Ray Hickey Hospice House: PO Box 1600, Vancouver, WA 98668. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
