Obituary of Evelyn Burket

Evelyn Marie Burket peacefully passed away in Vancouver on July 22, 2009 with her family by her side. Born on December 9, 1920 to Emil and Marie Nicoli in Albany , Minnesota, Evelyn was 88 years old. Evelyn was a volunteer cook and server at Albertina Kearns Restaurant and Adoption Agency, and also volunteered and was a member at St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Portland. She enjoyed playing bridge and poker, gardening, traveling the world, and spending time with her friends and family. Evelyn is survived by her grandson Travis Hansen of Vancouver, great-grandchildren Justin Hansen and Meisha Hansen both of Vancouver, three nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Ivan Burket in 1947, daughter Sandra Hansen in 2001, and brother Clarence Nicoli in 2006. Services are pending. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
