Daphne E. Raynor went quietly to rest on March 19th 2012, with her loving family by her side. Daphne was born in Belfast Ireland on Oct. 12, 1927. She was raised in a British military family and moved to Wales during the bombing of London. With the ending of WWII she went to live in Berlin, Germany where she met her soon to be husband, John. They were married in Gravesend, England in a little church where our princess Pocahontas is buried. Daphne came to America in 1951 where she lived the remainder of her life. She is preceded in death by her son Michael and survived by her husband John, daughter Debi Schuh and sons David and Jim Raynor. To know her was to be in the presence of a quality lady. May she rest in peace.
There will be no public services. Private interment will be held at the Camas Cemetery. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
