Loretta "Loli" was born to Lloyd and Florence Martin on January 8, 1946 in Parsons, Kansas. She was the 7th child of eleven. Her early education was obtained through the local school system and she attended college at Labette Community College and Oklahoma University. She was blessed with two children, Eugenia and Marlon. She dedicated many years to the Oklahoma Youth Center. She and four sisters moved to Tacoma, WA.  In 1993 where she resided until she made the move to Vancouver in 2008. Loretta was diagnosed with Cancer in June of this year and passed into her final rest on October 16, 2009. She is mourned by her daughter, Eugenia Ballard (husband Cedric) of Vancouver, WA; a son Marlon Wilson (wife Christy) of Moore, OK; three grandchildren Destiny, Paytin, Lindsay; five sisters Luella and Mona Martin of New York, Ramona and Mary Martin of Vancouver, WA. and Barbara Martin-Hatch(husband Gerald) of Hemet, Ca; two brothers Howard ( wife Shirley) of Detroit, Mi; Wendell Martin(wife Evelyn) of Parsons, Ks and a host of nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in eternal sleep by Lloyd and Florence Martin, mother and father; Lloyd L. Martin, brother; Colleen Graham, sister; Alfred Martin, brother. She has left behind millions of friends and extended family that grieve in her passing but must remember "even God appreciates a rose". There will be no public service. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
