Marjorie Florence Bafus peacefully passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at her residence in Vancouver. Born on March 23, 1923 in Vancouver to Charles and Ruby Pawsey, Marjorie was 86 years old.
A lifetime Washougal resident, Marjorie was a graduate of Washougal High School and was her high school Prom Queen her senior year. She worked at Pendleton Woolen Mills in Washougal before becoming a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, camping, going to the coast to deep sea fish, embroidery, crafts, and making things out of beads.
Marjorie is survived by her sons Robert Bafus of Vancouver and Gary (Jan) Bafus of Camas, three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years Albert Bafus in 2004.
There will be a graveside service for Marjorie on Thursday, November 12th at 10:00 am at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery.
Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
