Orissa Ellen McGlothlin peacefully passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at her home in Washougal. Born on February 15, 1950 in Bottineau, North Dakota to Raymond and Ella (Sharrott) Cassavanet, Orissa was 59 years old.
A 22 year Washougal resident, Orissa worked as a fork lift operator for Georgia Pacific Paper Mill in Camas before her retirement. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, traveling and helping family, friends and the community with anything that was needed.
Orissa, need anyone say more. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her and loved her. Orissa was a special friend to everyone and will be remembered for her gifts of making you laugh, smile, and feeling like a member of the family.
Orissa is survived by her loving husband Ken McGlothlin of Washougal, WA. Sons Michael Szoke and Jake McGlothlin; daughters Alisa Story and Erin McGlothlin; brother Newell Cassavanet; sisters Darlene Lashua, Christina Goldburg, Annebelle Robers and Lily Strange; grandchildren Austin and Elliott Szoke, Cameron and Morgan Story, and Aiden McGlothlin.
Per Orissa's request, there will be no public services and the memorial will be held at a later date with family and friends.
