Obituary of Doris Price

Doris Pearl Price peacefully passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2010 in Vancouver. Born on October 3, 1927 in Camas to Frank and Esther Barber, Doris was 82 years old. A lifetime Clark County resident, Doris was a member of the Camas Friends Church. She will forever be remembered for her avid reading, and spending time with her family and friends. Doris is survived by her son Elden Price of Washougal, daughter Susan McConn of Vancouver, brothers Rodger (Emma) Barber of Woodburn, Oregon and Robert (Gwen) Barber of Vancouver, sisters June Bowen of Vancouver, and Carol Henry of Gig Harbor, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years Jack Price, beloved daughter Helen Price in 1969, and sisters Betty Dozier and Helen Barber. There will be a graveside service for Doris on Thursday, February 25th at 2:00 pm at the Camas Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 24th from 12:00pm to 5:00 pm at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas. Memorials in Doris' honor may be sent to the United Leukodystrophy Foundation: 2304 Highland Drive; Sycamore, IL 60178. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
