I met Georgia in 1988 when I bought a house next door to them on Mt. Tabor. I then found out that they were close friends with my previous next door neighbors. Bob Finch and John Gega had met at University of Portland many years ago. These two couples became my family in Portland. When Georgia and Bob moved to Vancouver it felt like they had moved far away and I missed them so much. Georgia was always so warm and loving when I called or visited. She appreciated my friendship and always made me feel like one of the family. I certainly treated her like my mother (well, better, actually - sorry Mom ;-) I know she has lived a full life and has been fading from this world for some time. I'm sorry I wasn't a better friend to her in these last few years, but I still will miss her greatly. My condolences to Mikki, Kori and Chad.
