Obituary of Harold Vahsholtz

Harold Dean Vahsholtz returned to his Lord on Thursday, February 4, 2010. Born on February 27, 1939 to Roy and Frieda Vahsholtz in Woodbine, Kansas, Harold was 70 years old. A lifetime Washougal resident, Harold was attended and graduated from Washougal High School in 1959. He was member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Washougal, where he worked as a custodian. He enjoyed visiting with friends and spending time with them at the Washougal Sr. Citizens Center. Harold is survived by his brother Vernon (Barbara) Vahsholtz of Washougal, sisters Arlene (Gary) Brumsickle of Kelso, Washington, and Shirley (Vic) Hippe of Tacoma, Washington, sister-in-law Joanne Vahsholtz and brother-in-law Dave Swan. He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Frieda Vahsholtz, brother Duane Vahsholtz, and sister Norma Swan. There will be Celebration of Harold's life on Saturday, February 13th at 2:30 pm at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Washougal. Private Vault interment will be held at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery. There will be no public visitations. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
