My deepest sympathy goes out to Irene's family and friends. She was such an amazing lady who will certainly be missed by all who knew her. When I worked at Cascade Park Care Center as the receptionist she and I weren't just a Resident and Employee to each other we became very close friends and she really felt more like family to me. There wasn't a day go by that she didn't make me smile or laugh. She had such a way of cheering me up especially after my father passed and as my mother has been declining Irene was a true sounding board. My mother also thought the world of Irene and every time she would come to visit (from California) she always asked first thing "When are we going to see Irene?" Mother also often said "With every thing Irene has been through in her life she has the best attitude of anyone I've ever known." I'm sure many people can relate to that statement. She touched so many lives and will live on through all our memories and hearts. I'm very thankful that I had the chance to know her and call her "My Friend".
