Karen Lee Burt peacefully passed away with her family by her side on Friday, April 20, 2012 at her home in Washougal. Born on June 22, 1946 in Vancouver, Washington to Delwin and Helen (Gieler) McKamey; Karen was 65 years old.
A lifetime Clark County resident, Karen lived in Washougal for the past 38 years. She was a graduate of Battle Ground High School and owner of Karen's Custom Upholstery. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Karen is survived by her loving husband of 47 years David Burt at home; daughter Lisa Burt of Washougal; son David O. Burt of Vancouver; sisters Lois (Alan) Johnson of Vancouver, and Sherri (Ed) Donegan of Sacramento, California; brothers Delwin McKamey of Boring, Oregon, and Mick McKamey of Tri-Cities, Washington; and four grandchildren.
There will be no public services per Karen's request. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
