Dennis Lynn Jackson passed away on Monday, May 17, 2010 at his home in Vancouver. Born on November 7, 1959 in Marshall, Minnesota to Dwight and Millie Jackson, Dennis was 50 years old.
A Clark County resident since 1990, Dennis was formerly of Portland, Oregon and Marshall, Minnesota. He worked as a truck driver in the transportation industry and truck driving became his passion in life. Dennis also enjoyed fishing, gardening, landscaping, being outdoors, and driving his "Ol' Chevy Truck."
Dennis is survived by his children RoseAnne Jackson of Portland, Teresa Jackson of LaPine, Oregon, Kristopher Jackson of LaPine, Oregon, and Charles Jackson of Vancouver; mother Millie (Glenn) Bundy of Ridgefield; Dwight (MaryAnn) Jackson of Florence, Oregon; sister Lory Cato of Vancouver; special companion Kim Kohlschmidt of Vancouver; grandchild Alexis Lynn Blasdell of Portland; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his son Daniel Lynn Jackson in 2007.
There will be no public service for Dennis. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
