David William Charles Gilmore unexpectedly passed away on Monday, May 31, 2010 in Camas. Born on March 20, 1993 in Vancouver, Washington to Larry Gilmore and Jessica Rodgers, David was 17 years old. A lifetime Camas resident, David attended Camas High School. He enjoyed swimming, scuba diving, music, video games, and cooking. Most of all, David enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. David is survived by his loving parents Jessica and Gordon Rodgers at home, and Larry Gilmore of Washougal; brothers Damon Gilmore of Washougal, Dale Hollingsworth of Washougal, and Xavier Gilmore of Washougal; sisters Stephanie Rodgers of Camas, and Jessica Rodgers of Vancouver; grandparents Ed and Wanda DeJong of Washougal, and William "Bill" and Gail Waddle of Camas; aunts and uncles Angela and Vernon Taylor of Lacey, Washington, Michelle and Kevin Croxe of Camas, Ben Gilmore of Vancouver, Neil Beck of Alaska, Joene and Raymond Hancock of Camas, and Jack and Cheryl Randall of Washougal; and many cousins and friends. There will be a Celebration of David's life on Saturday, June 12th at 4:00 pm at the Camas-Washougal Wildlife League: 811 SE Leadbetter Road in Camas. Donations in David's memory may be sent to the David W.C. Gilmore Memorial Fund at any Lacamas Community Credit Union Branch. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
