Ramona Jean Long passed away on Monday, June 07, 2010 at her home in Vancouver surrounded by her family. Born on June 13, 1939 in Ridgefield, Utah to Ivan and Dorothy Barney, Ramona was 70 years old. A Camas-Vancouver resident since 1972, Ramona had been formerly of Utah. She worked as an auditor for JC Penney and retired after twenty-six years of employment. She was an avid Trailblazers fan. She loved crossword puzzles, and spending time with her friends and family. Ramona is survived by her husband Daniel; daughter Verlinda Wilson of Portland; sons Ronald (Tammy) Ortiz of Camas, and Kim (Joanne) Ortiz of Battle Ground; mother Dorothy Matheny of Ogden, Utah; stepchildren Dan, Mary, Ginger, and Ann; sisters Bonnie (Gary) Carter of Washington, Utah, Colleen (Glenn) Brown of Ogden, Utah, Sheila Brown of Layton, Utah, and Melinda Bonny of Ogden, Utah; brother Chuck Matheny of Ogden, Utah; brother-in-law Alan (Kenna) Long of Washougal, mother-in-law Marge Medina of Camas; sister-in-law Audrey (Dale) Krassow of California; Grandchildren: Tamber, Erica, Jacqueline, and Ronnie Jr., Gabriel, Benjamin, Elijah, Micah, Satta, Hawa, Luke, Adam and Alice; and great-grandchildren Rylee and Connor, Elliott and Oliver A Celebration of her life will be held at the Lacamas Heights Baptist Church on Sunday, June 20th at 2 pm. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
