Marion Elaine Sprague died on Sunday, August 1, 2010 at her home in Camas, Washington. Born Marion Elaine Charlson on December 26, 1923 in Lake Mills, Iowa to Nels E. and Mae Charlson, Marion was 86 years old. She married the love of her life, Raymond W. Sprague on April 16, 1942 in Quartzite, Arizona. Together they moved to Washougal, and lived there for sixty-three years. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of the Sunnyside Neighbors Club. Most of all, Marion enjoyed traveling, gardening, reading, and being with her family. Marion is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Janice and Lyle Boschee of Washougal; granddaughters Robin (Brent) Brown of Portland and Wendy (Edward) Whitesitt of McMinnville, Oregon; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years Raymond in 2009, and a sister Lucille Purdy. There will be a graveside service for Marion on Thursday, August 5th at 1:00 pm at Sunnyside Cemetery in Washougal. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Mountainview House in Camas for their compassionate care during Marion's last days. Memorials in Marion's honor may be sent to the Mountainview House in Camas: 2647 NW Kent St.; Camas, WA 98607. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
