Obituary of Shane Johnson

Shane Michael Johnson passed away on Friday, August 6, 2010 at Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver. Born on August 1, 1967 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin to Kenneth and Virginia Johnson; Shane was 43 years old. A Washougal resident for the last 27 years, Shane was formerly of Portland, Oregon. He was a graduate of Washougal High School in 1988 and member of the Washougal Eagles F.O.E. #4390. An avid socialize, Shane supported many Alzheimer's Fundraising events. He also enjoyed Indian artifacts, martial arts, going for walks, football, NASCAR, karaoke, watching rodeos, and collecting knives and firearms. Most importantly, Shane loved being around his family and friends. Shane is survived by his brothers Dennis Johnson of Washougal, Pat (Cathy) Johnson of Gresham, Oregon, Jerry (Jan) Johnson of Washougal, Jack (Alynn) Johnson of Princeton, Minnesota, Mickey (Andrea) Johnson of Washougal, and Rick (Linda) Dietz of Washougal; sisters Tonie (Bonnie) Field of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Vicki Zaudtke of Washougal, Cindy Nelson of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Tabitha Dalsing of Kelso, Washington, Fran Winn of Portland, Oregon, and Shirley (Allen) Kunz of Portland, Oregon; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Virginia Johnson, and brothers Dale Johnson, Peter Johnson, and Oly Johnson. There will be a celebration of Shane's life on Sunday, August 15th at 2:00 pm at the Washougal Eagles F.O.E. #4390: 1910 Main St.; Washougal, WA 98671. Memorials in Shane's honor may be made to the Washougal Eagles F.O.E. #4390. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
