Yvonne Beth (Isaacson) Thomas peacefully passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2010 in Vancouver, Washington. Born on June 14, 1924 in Plymouth, Wisconsin to Vivian and Gerda (Stai) Isaacson; Yvonne was 86 years old.
Yvonne worked in Retail Sales in the Music Industry. She was a Veteran of the United States Navy during World War II serving as a Ship's Cook Third Class. She was also a member of the Baha'i Faith.
Yvonne is survived by her daughter Rachel (Jim) Meredith of Vancouver, son David Thomas, daughter-in-law Toni Frates, grandson Jason Pierce, sister Natalie Watson, nephew Stuart Watson, niece Gerda (Scott) Faith, chosen daughter and daily caregiver Lynn Larsen, and her Baha'i Faith.
A Natural Burial with Full Military Honors was held for Yvonne on Friday, November 19th at the Fern Prairie Cemetery. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
