Harry Gale Tipton, age 78, passed away Saturday January 15, 2005 in Vancouver, WA. A resident of Washougal, Harry has lived in the area for 33 years. Harry was born July 6, 1926 in Yelm, WA. He joined the United States Army in 1944 and was stationed at Fort Lewis, WA. In the early 1950's he moved to San Francisco, where he became an auto mechanic. His favorite spot was Half Moon Bay, and in 1970 he became a certified scuba diver. He retired in 1972, and moved his family back to Washington. Harry loved life....and he loved people. He spent his life helping and doing for others. He knew no strangers....only friends....and he will be missed by many. The Tipton family would like to add a special Thank You to Marsha Ervin and her daughter Katie, owner and operator of Caring Comfort, for the love and care they gave to our Dad.
