Gordon Gray Obituary

Gordon A. Gray of Camas, passed away on January 27, 2005 at the age of 82. A lifetime Camas resident, Gordon was a WW II Prisoner Of War while serving his country in the United States Army. During his tenure in the Army, Gordon received three Bronze Stars and numerous other military honors. After the war, Gordon went to work for Crown Zellerbach where he worked until his retirement. Gordon loved loved his family, riding motorcycles, and was a member of the North Bank Masonic Lodge #182 F.&A.M. As a member of the Masons, Gordon served as both a Pastmaster of North Bank Lodge #182 F.&A.M., and as Past District Deputy of District #19. He was a member of the Lackamas Chapter #152 Order of Eastern Star, a member of the York Rite Bodies, a member of the Afifi Temple of the Shrine, and a Shriners Clown. Gordon is survived by his wife Demetria "Dee" Gray at home. He is also survived by his two nephews; James Gray of Washougal, and Steven Gray of Washougal, and his two nieces; Teri and Michael McCrary of Camas, and Dena and Tim Williams of Woodland, along with one Great-Nephew and five Great-Nieces. He was proceeded in death by one brother; Kenneth Gray in 1998. There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, February 12, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Brown's Funeral Home. Viewing will be from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM at Brown's Funeral Home from February 7-11th. A reception will follow at the North Bank Masonic Lodge after the service.
