Obituary of Thomas Ritter

Thomas W. Ritter of Camas, passed away on February 2, 2005 at the age of 70. Tom was a veteran for the United States Army and was a sales agent where he owned and operated his own business with his wife Yan, T&Y International L.T.D. Limited. A Portland, Oregon resident from 1970-1995, Tom was a ten year resident of Clark County where he lived in Camas with Yan and his daughter Camille. Throughout the years, Tom enjoyed numerous activities and joined many organizations. Tom enjoyed writing his own poetry and painting pictures. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fly fishing, biking, traveling, and running in marathons. He was a tri-athlete and champion swimmer who belonged to the Lacamas Swim and Sport Athletic Club. Most of all, he enjoyed life and loved his family. Tom is survived by his wife, Yan Ritter and daughter, Camille Ritter at home. He is also survived by his daughters; Kimberly Ritter of Portland, Oregon, Suzanne Hayden of Portland, Oregon, and Michelle Parkel of Portland, Oregon, and his mother; Alma Hawkyard Ritter of Vancouver, Washington. He is also blessed to leave behind six wonderful grandchildren. A celebration of life service will be held on February 19, 2005 at 1:00 PM at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas, Washington. Tom and his family would like any memorials in his honor to be sent to UNICEF to help aid the Tsunami Relief: 333 East 38th Street New York, NY 10016 Brown's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
