Obituary of Iris Ethel Sadewasser

Iris Ethel Sadewasser passed away on Friday, February 18, 2005 in Vancouver, Washington at the age of 81. Born on May 14, 1923 in St. Johns, Washington, Iris worked as a bank teller for First Interstate Bank in Washougal before she retired. A member of Zion Lutheran Church in Camas, Iris loved watching sports on TV. She was a huge fan of the Portland Trailblazers, the Seattle Seahawks, and the Seattle Mariners. Most of all, Iris loved her family. Iris is survived by her son; Eric and Barbara Sadewasser of Washougal, Washington, and her daughter; Gail Sadewasser of Ocean Park, Washington. She is also survived by her sister; Francis Green of Central Point, Oregon, and three grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years; Richard "Sody" Sadewasser. There will be no service. Private interment will take place at Washougal Memorial Cemetery. Donations in Iris' name may be made to the charity of choice. Brown's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
