Adelheid Katherine Daugherty passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2005 in Vancouver. An 85 year Clark County resident, Adelheid was 94 years old.
Adelheid was a longtime member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Camas, and was a member of the St. Thomas Aquinas Guild. She worked in the bag factory for Crown Zellerbach Paper Mill and was a former owner with her husband Floyd of the Camas Cab Company. Adelheid enjoyed sewing, bowling, and quilting, and was a member of the Clark County Quilter's Club and other sewing clubs in Clark County.
Adleheid is survived by her son; David Daugherty of Webster, Florida, and her three brothers; Johnnie Mueller of Arizona, Felix Mueller of Washougal, and Andrew Mueller of Washougal, and her sister; Katherine Warren of Camas. She is blessed to leave behind two grandchildren; Clifford and Penelope, and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; Floyd Daugherty (1985).
A vigil service will be held for Adelheid on Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Camas. A funeral mass will be on Thursday, April 21, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Camas. A graveside service will be held after the funeral mass at the Camas Cemetery.
