As I look at Mrs. Greens picture, I see her sitting opposite me and listening to me talk. I can not express in words how much I will miss her and her friendship. I have known Mrs. Green for over 20 years. Our daughters grew up together and have remained best friends. Her and I met and became good friends too. She and her daughter came to visit us often and we so enjoyed the thanksgiving meals we shared and the special dinners we shared. My husband and I loved it when Rachel and her mom would come to Thanksgiving dinner. She would make a huge turkey with all the trimmings and bring the entire meal over to our house. She taught me how to make gravey by mixing up a water and flour paste. She would always be there to listen and we all enjoyed her company very much. She helped me make strawberry jam with no recipe written down. She had made it so many times, she just knew how to put it all together. One of her favorite things to do was to sit on the back porch and just enjoy nature and her animals. She always made me feel welcome and comfortable at her home and especially her kitchen table. She would say, "Come on over anytime, I will put a pot of coffee on." I will miss her friendship very much. She was extremely proud of her children and loved to have them visit. She was a wonderful loving mother and my friend. Judy
