George Lawson Obituary

George Richard Lawson passed away on May 25, 2005 in Camas, Washington. He was 68 years old. Born on July 18, 1936 in Portland, Oregon, George was a former resident of Seal Rock, Oregon, before moving to Camas two months ago. George worked as a freight agent for Southern Pacific Railroad at the Toledo branch. He was a member of both the United States Army and the United States Marines, serving his country from 1954-1962. George is survived by his son and daughter-in-law; Murray S. and Shawna Lawson of Camas, Washington, his two sisters; Patricia Lawson of Portland, Oregon, and Jonie Lawson of Portland, Oregon, and his brother; Rob Lawson of Portland, Oregon. George also is survived by his five grandchildren. There will be no service. Brown's Funeral Home in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
