Richard Raymond Melcher passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2005 in Portland, Oregon. He was 48 years old.
Richard was a laborer who liked golfing, fishing, camping, sports, computers, and drag racing and cart racing. He also enjoyed billiards, the lottery, and socializing. Most of all, he loved his family.
Richard is survived by his wife; Rebecca Melcher of Portland, Oregon and his mother; Lucille Melcher of Washougal, Washington. He is also survived by his brothers; Leroy Amadisto of Arizona, Leon Amadisto of Portland, and Mike Melcher of Washougal, and his sisters; Betty Strawder of Portland, and Bonnie Jackson of Hawthorne, California.
There will be a celebration of life service held on Friday, June 24, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas. Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 23rd from 9:00-6:00 p.m. at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas.
