Allan Gates Obituary

Allan Robert Gates passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2005 in Vancouver at the age of 47. A 27 year Vancouver resident, Al worked as a painter for Freightliner. Al was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Vancouver, and a member of the Painters Union #1094. He enjoyed golf, baseball, water sports, fishing, and camping. Most of all, Al loved his family. Al is survived by his wife Sue at home, daughters Amanda and Sabrina at home, two sons, Matthew of Lake Havasu, Arizona, and Ryan of Randle, Washington, mother Phyllis of Redmond, Oregon, one brother, Roger of Manteno, Illinois, three sisters, Ann Morales of Vancouver, Nancy Reisinger and Shelli Gonzales both of Redmond, Oregon, and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Monday, August 15th at 10:00 am at Peace Lutheran Church in Vancouver. Viewing will be held on Friday, August 12th from 9:00 am " 5:00 pm at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas. Private interment will take place at the Camas Cemetery. Memorials in Al's honor may be sent to Hospice Southwest: PO Box 1600, Vancouver, WA 98668. Brown's Funeral Home in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
