Kathleen Johnson Obituary

Kathleen (Kathi) Marie Johnson died August 28, 2005 at the Ray Hickey Hospice House in Vancouver after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Portland on March 2, 1941 to Pete and Doris Miller. They moved to Astoria when she was 3 and spent the last 23 years in Washougal. Kathi is survived by her mother, Doris Miller, sister Shelby Donithorne, daughter Jill and Todd Foster, sons Scott and Tracy Johnson and Ryan and Carrie Johnson and 5 grandsons, Scott, Matthew, Andrew, Garret, and Kolby. Kathi was a member of the Bahaii faith for 49 years. She was a great cook and loved to gather friends and family for a home cooked meal. Her grandsons were her pride and joy, and always lit up her face. She was a giving person and never turned away a person in need. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends. A celebration of her life will be on Saturday, September 3rd at 11:00 am at Hathaway Park in Washougal. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Ray Hickey Hospice House in her name. We would like to say a special thank you to everyone at the hospice house, and to the Lacamas Medical Group and Dion Pastick for their guidance, compassion, and friendship through this most difficult time. Brown's Funeral Home in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
