Mildred K. Smead passed away on January 30, 2006 in Camas. Born on July 10, 1913 in
Washougal, Mildred was 92 years old.
Mildred was a homemaker who enjoyed flower gardening, her grandchildren and great
grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling in her earlier years and had been a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Lackamas Chapter #152 since 1934.
Mildred is survived by her daughter Sandra Richards of Camas, granddaughter Pamela K.
O'Brien of Washougal, two grandsons Derril D. Richards of Camas and Randy L. Richards, 5 great grandsons Kyle & Jake O'Brien, Dusty, Joe & Chris Richards,
sister Helen E. Johnson and brother Grant L. Johnson both of Washougal and
numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Smead (2002).
There will be a celebration of life service on Friday, February 3, at 1:00 pm at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas with a graveside service to follow at Washougal Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please send donations In Memory of Mildred Smead to
the Historical Society, PO Box 204, Washougal, WA 98671. Brown's Funeral Home in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
