In love of a loving Mother and Friend, Helen Landgrebe was born in Port Chester, NY on January 21, 1939 to Teresa & John Fano. Helen lived in Greenwich, Conn., Pawling, NY, Estacada, OR and then moved to the Washougal/Camas area in 1978. Helen is survived by her husband of 44 ½ years, Edward J. Landgrebe, residing in Washougal, daughters Barbara Finn of Greenwich, Conn., Teresa Madeline Gladefeilder of Clackamas, OR, sons Edward J. Landgrebe III of Estacada, OR, James M. Landgrebe of Washougal, sisters Irene Stahl & Doris Anderson of Virginia and 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Robert Fano, daughter Jeani Marie Landgrebe and son Bill Landgrebe. Helen loved Mt. St. Helens, the Coast and Hawaii. Helen had a heart of gold and loved her grandchildren. Helen worked in several nursing homes during her life, in Pawling, NY, Hazel Dell and Vancouver. Helen died at Southwest Washington Medical Center on Feb. 19, 2006 after a short illness due to congestive heart failure. For more information please call Edward at 837-1067.
