Marjorie Allen Carr passed away on Monday, April 3, 2006 in Vancouver. Born on March 22, 1917 in Seattle, Marjorie was 89 years old. A 60 years Washougal resident, Marjorie worked as a teacher. In 1940 she married her husband William K. Carr. She enjoyed gardening, socializing, and loved her family and friends. Marjorie is survived by her three sons Roderick A. Carr of Redmond, Frederick G. Carr of Chehalis, and Nicholas W. Carr of Vancouver. She leaves behind six grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William K. Carr (1978) and brother Harry Allen. There will be no public service. Memorials in Marjorie's honor may be made to the Arc of Clark County: P.O. Box 2608 Vancouver, WA 98668-2608. Brown's Funeral Home in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
