Marvin Autry, age 73, passed away on April 8, 2006 in Camas, WA. A Korean War Veteran, Marvin was born on March 3, 1933 in Erwin, NC. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Camas. In 1993, he retired from many years of employment at Boise Cascade. Marvin had a love of fishing and boating, and was also an avid bowler. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mamie Autry, as well as his wife, Jo Eleanor and sister, Jeanette Andrews. Survivors include; sisters, Esther McElhinney and Barbara Duerr; brother, Sam Autry; children, Carol Cone, Mark Autry, Michael Autry and Anita Chambers; grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan, Christopher, Brandi, Shane, Kyle, Kayla, David, Andre, Desirae, Michael, Miranda, Elijah and Samantha; and two great-grandchildren, Caleob and Cadence. A memorial service will be held at Camas Assembly of God at 2p.m. on Thurs., April 13, 2006. Donation may be sent to Camas Assembly of God or The American Heart Association. Brown's Funeral Home in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
