Rodger Wayne Spor passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2006 in Washougal. Born on November 3, 1962 in Kansas City, Missouri, Rodger was 43 years old.
Rodger worked as a general manager in the automotive industry, specializing in logistics. He worked for eighteen years for Consolidated Freightways. A six year resident of Washougal, Rodger enjoyed fly fishing, football, collecting miniature keepsakes, antiques, deer hunting, farming while living in Missouri, and playing the fiddle and guitar.
Rodger is survived by his wife Jeannette at Home, daughter Heather Blevins-Lane of Clovis, California, Father and Mother Robert "Bob" and Dianna Spor of Orrick, Missouri, Brother Steve (Shelly) Spor of Orrick, Missouri, and granddaughter Samantha Lane of Clovis, California.
There will be a celebration of life service for Rodger on Thursday, April 20th at 11:00 am at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 19th from 9:00 am-5:00 pm at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas. Burial will take place in Missouri at a later date. Donations in Rodger's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society: 0330 SW Curry St, Portland, OR 97239 or to the Alzheimer's Association: 1311 N.W. 21st Avenue, Portland, OR 97209.
