Obituary of Donald Eldredge

Donald C. Eldredge died Saturday of natural causes he was 82. Services are at St John's Presbyterian Church in Camas on Monday May 8 at 11 am. Mr. Eldredge was born on May 2, 1924 in Payette, Idaho to Tom and Sybil Eldredge. Don graduated from Nyssa High School and Oregon State College, where he was 1946 Senior Class President. He was also Sigma Nu fraternity president that same year. He married Barbara Fleming on June 16, 1946. Don worked for Crown Zellerbach Corp. for 34 years. He was Camas Mill Controller upon his retirement in 1980. Don enjoyed golf, gardening, bridge, and the Wednesday pool game with the "Golden Boys". His wife preceded him in death. He is survived by his sons Ron Eldredge, Dale Eldredge, and daughter Lynnette Geiss. Memorial contributions can be made to the Ray Hickey Hospice House in Vancouver. Brown's Funeral Home in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements. .
