Nina "Mary" Toops was born on July 22, 1920 in Mackay, Idaho. Mary passed away on May 5, 2006 in Vancouver, Washington. She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Elmer G. W. Toops in 1972. Mary enjoyed crocheting, crafting, bowling and bunco. Mary was a member of the Washougal Grange, Navy Mothers and the Pythians. She was a past member of the Buzzin Bees Square Dance Club in Vancouver. Mary is survived by her six children, Elmer & Betty Toops, Bob & Judy Toops of Camas, Washington, Sylvia Cathey of Washougal, Washington, Kay & Richard Payne, Bill Toops of Vancouver, Washington and Warren Toops of Boise, Idaho, fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren, one sister Ethel Pollet of Prineville, Oregon, one brother, Bud LaRocque of Boise, Idaho and numerous nieces and nephews.
