Jeanne Lucille Durrett passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 in Camas. Born on January 28, 1925 in Oregon City, Oregon, Jeanne was 81 years old. Jeanne was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, birds, crafts, Disney movies, and eating. She loved her family and especially enjoyed her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter HonaLee Burden of Camas, sons Ned Sampson of Camas, Larry Sampson of Washougal, Day Durrett of Washougal, and Mark Kroll of Tacoma, sisters Arlene Zorn of Clatskanie, Oregon, Geraldine Turnbow of Washougal, and Ferne Facey of Washougal. Jeanne was blessed with seventeen grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Lester Durrett (2004). There will be a celebration of life service on Sunday, May 21st at 3:00 pm at the Camas-Washougal Wildlife League. Brown's Funeral Home in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
