Richard "Dick" Leroy Lindstrom passed away on Friday, May 26, 2006 in Camas. Born on November 14, 1930 in Astoria, Oregon, Dick was 75 years old. Dick worked as a gill-netter fisherman and a marine mechanic, owning his own business for twenty years. He was a veteran who served in the United States Army during the Korean War. His interest was his family, friends, and the Baha'i Faith. He was a Baha'i since 1964 and a member of the Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of Clatsop County for 37 years. Dick is survived by his Wife Lise Lindstrom of Washougal, daughters Debra Anne Palazollo of Milwaukie, Oregon, and Julie Anne Capps of Aloha, Oregon, sisters Doris Richburg of Seaside, Oregon, and Geraldine Woodward of Virginia, brother Charles Lindstrom of La Grande, Oregon, cousin Ross Lindstrom, and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a cousin, a nephew, and numerous aunts and uncles. A Graveside service was held on Saturday, May 27, 2006 at Fern Prairie Cemetery in Camas. Brown's Funeral Home in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
