Lester Thomas Gillaspie passed away on June 29, 2006 in Vancouver, Washington. Born on September 12, 1910 in St. Louis, Missouri, Lester was 95 years old.
Lester worked as a pressman for 45 years in the typographical industry. He was a veteran of the United States Navy during World War II and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was also involved in Project Literacy.
Lester is survived by his children Larry Thomas Gillaspie of Athens, New York and daughter Mary V. Lee of Los Gatos, California, and David Gillaspie of Camas, Washington, and five grandchildren.
Burial will take place at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas, Texas on Friday, July 7th at 9:00 am. Donations in Lester's honor may be made to the charity of choice. Brown's Funeral Home in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
