Obituary of Lyle Sartin

Lyle Leon Sartin passed away on July 15, 2006 in Vancouver. Born on October 17, 1921 in Lacrosse, Kansas, Lyle was 84 years old. Lyle worked as an auditor in the insurance industry. A 15 year Camas resident, he enjoyed fishing, camping, woodworking, and loving his family. He was a Veteran of World War II serving under the United States Army. Lyle is survived by his wife of 61 years Esther at home, daughter Phyllis Matson of Camas, Brother Martin Sartin of California, one grandson, and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Jacqueline Matson (1988). There will be a family graveside service at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland at a later date. Donations in Lyle's honor may be made to the charity of choice. Brown's Funeral Home in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
