Joseph Dean Hurley passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2006 in Vancouver, Washington. Born on October 9, 1926 in Kirkstone, Minnesota, Joseph was 79 years old. A 30+ year resident of Clark County and Skamania County, Joseph worked as a construction millwright. He enjoyed cutting wood, working, watching television, and telling big tales to friends. Joseph is survived by his wife of 45 years Joanne at home, sons Patrick of Eugene, Gordon of Anchorage, Alaska, and Brian of Anchorage, Alaska, and daughter Leona Marquez of Washougal, and eight grandchildren. There will be no public service. Vault interment will take place at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon. Donations may be made to the charity of choice. Brown's Funeral Home in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
