Patsy Mae Smith passed away on October 4, 2006 in Vancouver, Washington. Born on November 3, 1945 in Hobart, Oklahoma, Patsy was 60 years old. A 38 year resident of the Camas-Washougal area, Patsy had lived the last year in Vancouver. She worked as a homemaker and was known for enjoying collecting frogs, birdhouses, the wildlife, gardening, and her family. Patsy is survived by her husband, Alton E. Smith at home, father and step-mother Harold and Glenis Johnston of Colbert, Oklahoma, sons Kelly L. Smith of Vancouver, Alan E. Smith of Vancouver, and Jason W. Smith of Vancouver, daughter Patricia D. Battaglia of Camas, brothers Harold Johnston of Denison, Texas, Ricky Johnston of Colbert, Oklahoma, David Johnston of Bochita, Oklahoma, Steven Johnston of Colbert, Oklahoma, and Eddie Tedford of Clinton, North Carolina, sisters Janie Lambright of Huntsville, Texas, Rene Schimell of Washougal, Ilene Gartman of Colbert, Oklahoma, Arlene Simons of Colbert, Oklahoma, and Darla Bookout of Colbert, Oklahoma, and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother Bobby Mae Johnston (1985). There will be no public service. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
