Former Washougal resident Willie Gega passed away at his home in Edmonds, Washington on Monday, May 28, 2012. Born on May 13, 1925 in Honolulu, Hawaii to John Makar and Agiafiana Marie (Reganoff) Gegher; Willie was 87 years old.
Willie was a Veteran of the United States Merchant Marines during World War II. He is survived by his daughter Rebecca Trautvetter of Washougal, Washington and son Bill Gega of Edmonds, Washington and Son Timothy Gega of Santa Rosa, California.
There will be a graveside service with full military honors on Tuesday, June 5th at 10:00 am at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
