My deepest sympathies to Michael, Marie, Jim, Sandy and Anna. I pray your hurting won't be too long.
I have been trying to think of a witty, or heartfelt story. I don't have a story more like memories. Sure I remember Uncle Felix as a custodian at school when I was young. And I remember him as I was growing up, playing cards with the menfolk. The picture of he and Dad at Elizabeth's wedding was just one way he helped celebrate family.
But mostly I remember how close he and my dad were. I would observe them and see how much they cared for one another and enjoyed each others company. If it was cutting wood, bowling or having lunch at Heller's. They didn't talk that much, but sometimes one would say something and then they would laugh and laugh. Things just seemed more matter of fact with them. Uncle Felix was such a good man, always ready to help with what ever was needed. I saw that in how much he and Dad relied on each other. I will miss him so,so much. And I smile now through the tears as they joyfully stack Gods wood pile and get in a bowling game.
