Leonard Lee Trip passed away on December 21, 2014. He was 73 years old.
Leonard was born to his parents Leonard and Allie Tripp on October 21, 1941 in Los Angeles, California. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Brigham Young University, and then went on to complete his Master’s Degree. He also attended the University of Washington, and spent his life working as an Aerospace Engineer for Boeings. He enjoyed scouting (he was a Silver Beaver Scout) as well as pine box and soap box derby racing. Leonard is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Grass Valley Ward) and a resident of Camas for the past 11 years.
Leonard is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Celia at home; his father Leonard of Hanford, California; four daughters: Valerie (Steven) Eskelsen of Kennewick, Washington, Monica Barret of Camas, Washington, Allyson (Spencer) Rozell of Chilliwack, B.C, Canada, and Mary (Spencer) Dearden of West Point, Utah; two sons, Justin (Megan) Tripp of Los Alamos, New Mexico and Lee Tripp of Provo, Utah; 28 grandchildren, and his brother, Torrance Tripp of Coalinger, California.
A celebration of Leonard’s life will take place on Saturday, December 27 at 11 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Prune Hill Ward.
