Obituary of Gary Lee Welch

Garry Lee Welch passed away on October 8, 2015 after a bravely fought battle against cancer. He was 64 years old. Garry was born on June 10, 1951 to his parents Walter and Pauline Welch in Perryton, Texas. He was a veteran in the U.S. Army, and spent his working life in industrial sales. He was a 2 year resident of Washington, previously of Temecula, California. Garry was a family man. Dependable. Quiet. Described by those he loved as a “Pillar”, he was always willing to lend a hand, and show his love through helping others. He enjoyed working outside, and was a farmer at heart. He was a special man who touched many lives, and will be missed deeply. Garry is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years, Stephanie Welch; four sons: Jonathan, James, Evan, and Daniel; his daughter Hannah; granddaughter Temperance; his father Walter; his twin brother Terry and his brother Kirk; and sisters, Judy and Joyce. He was preceded in death by his mother. A celebration of Garry’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Brown’s Funeral Home.
