Obituary of Russell Dale Fitzgerald

Russell Dale Fitzgerald, age 81 years, passed away on June 30, 2017 in Vancouver, Washington.  He was born to Willie Mark Fitzgerald and Vada Marie Lowrey on November 23, 1935 in Mitchell, Oregon.

Russell earned his Bachelor's Degree and was a rancher in the cattle business.  

He is survived by his wife, Jerrine Fitzgerald; children, Loralee (Raymond) Wagner, Karen (Jack) O'Neal, David Piersall, Kathryn (Parnelli) Thomas, Elvin (Jesica) Fitzgerald, Suzanne Lomax, Aaron (Phoebe) Fitzgerald, Scott (Santiago) Fitzgerald, Bonnie (Jason) Thompson, Richard Piersall, Angela Piersall; 23 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Elsie Simmons; brothers, Ray Fitzgerald, Tom Fitzgerald and Joe Fitzgerald.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Mark Fitzgerald and Vada Marie Lowrey; sister, Leona Puckett; brother, Fred Fitzgerald; grandson, Mark O'Neal.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Vancouver East Stake Center, 18300 N.E. 18th St, Vancouver, Washington on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Russell's name to the LDS Missionary Fund or LDS Humanitarian Services (C/O LDS Philanthropics, 1450 N. University Avenue, Provo, Utah  86604)
