Charles Allyn Woods, 50, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 in Vancouver, Washington. He was a lifetime resident of Washougal, Washington.
Chuck was born on January 12, 1971 in Vancouver, Washington to his parents, Warren E. Woods and Mareta Keyes. He graduated from Washougal High School in 1989 and was employed with Clark Public Utility District. He belonged to the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union #125. When he was not working he loved spending time with his family and going fishing and camping.
Chuck was a devoted husband, father, son, papa, brother, friend and fisherman. With blue eyes that sparkled when he smiled, he showed his love with all of his heart and soul, and made sure everyone felt it. He would give the shirt off of his back for a stranger, never expecting a thing in return because he had a heart of pure gold. He was the definition of a family man and made a deep imprint on many lives along the river. His vibrant spirit will live on through those that loved him. Loved beyond words, missed beyond measure. Fish on.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Sarah at home; sons, John Mendoza of Washougal, Washington, Jimmy Mendoza of Washougal, Washington, Richard Mendoza of Vancouver, Washington, Forrest Hobensack of Washougal, Washington; 4 grandchildren; parents, Warren & Mareta Woods of Camas, Washington; brothers, Terry Woods of Washougal, Washington, William Woods of Battle Ground, Washington.
