Joseph Edward Allyn Obituary

Joseph E. "Ed" Allyn passed away February 26, 2022. Ed was born on September 30, 1944 in Raymond, WA.

Ed lived in Camas-Washougal for 62 years and was known in the community as the owner of Smitty's Family Dining. He enjoyed spending time with the customers and getting to know them through the years. Raised as a Christian, it was Ed's mission to spread God's word to others. Ed donated to many charities as well.

Ed is preceded in death by his son Joseph S. "Steve" Allyn, Howland and Wilma Fleming, and his parents Lester and Lois Allyn.

He is survived by his brother Ray Allyn (Tess) of Chandler, AZ, son Jeffery Allyn (Holly), daughter-in-law Jill (Steve), 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and loving friend Shaylynn LeFever. As well as numerous friends and family members.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 9th at Smitty's Family Dining.
