Obituary of Mary Helen Webber

Mary Helen Webber passed away on March 18, 2022, in her home in Vancouver, Washington surrounded by her family. She was 90 years old. Mary was born in Vancouver, Washington on October 23, 1931, in Vancouver, Washington to John and Helen Lewis. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Theodore Webber, beloved daughter, Geri Burson, her parents, John and Helen Lewis, her brother, James Lewis and sisters, Joyce Lewis and Kathleen Fuerstenau. Mary loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. She made each family member feel special and loved. She enjoyed working in her yard, which she decorated for every holiday. Her Christmas and Fourth of July celebrations were always epic events, and she planned for them months in advance. They were always happy celebrations with all of her family members present. She was also an avid sports fan and loved watching the Seahawks and the Gonzaga Bulldogs play. She loved her birds, especially the crows and the squirrels in her yard. She always made sure they were well fed. She had many close friends in her neighborhood that she enjoyed visiting and she loved them all, including her special friend, Charlie. Mary leaves behind her sister, Emmalou Lewis in Redding, Ca and her children, Sandra Kern (Tony), Louie Blakeslee (Sharon), Jeanne Mowry (Ron), Joy Frahm (Doug), Nellie Witt (Rick), Cindy Knotts (Kevin) and her honorary daughter, Claire Neveu. Mary had 14 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her beloved kitty, Teddy, who will miss her greatly. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 23rd at 11:00 AM at Bethel Lutheran Church, located at 12919 NE 159th Street in Brush Prairie, Washington. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Clark County Humane Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown's Funeral Home in Camas, Washington.
